Description:
Floboid Eye Drops contain Flurbiprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) formulated for ophthalmic use. It is primarily used to reduce inflammation and pain in the eye, especially before and after eye surgeries such as cataract extraction.
Floboid works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins – chemical messengers that contribute to inflammation, pain, and swelling.
Indications:

Prevention of intraoperative miosis (pupil constriction) during cataract surgery

Management of postoperative ocular inflammation

Temporary relief of pain and discomfort due to eye irritation (as advised by an eye care professional)
Directions for Use:

Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) as prescribed by your ophthalmologist.

Wash hands before and after use.

Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface to avoid contamination.
Precautions:

For ophthalmic use only – do not ingest.

Use with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to NSAIDs.

Not recommended for use in children unless directed by a physician.

Contact lenses should be removed before application and reinserted at least 15 minutes after use.
