Description:

Cerumol Ear Drops are used to soften and help remove earwax (cerumen), making ear irrigation or natural wax expulsion easier. The product works by penetrating and breaking down hardened earwax, allowing it to loosen and drain naturally or be removed by a healthcare professional.

Cerumol is especially useful for people who experience earwax buildup, blockage, hearing difficulties, or discomfort caused by impacted wax.

Indications:

  • Softening and loosening of hardened or impacted earwax

  • Preparation before ear syringing (irrigation) by a healthcare provider

  • Relief of temporary hearing loss or ear discomfort due to wax blockage

Dosage and Administration:

  • Tilt head and instill 5 drops into the affected ear twice daily for up to 3 days, unless otherwise directed.

  • Keep the ear facing upward for a few minutes to allow the solution to soak in.

  • Gently wipe away excess liquid.

  • If necessary, the ear may be irrigated by a healthcare provider after softening.

Precautions and Warnings:

  • For external use in the ear only.

  • Do not use if you have:

    • A perforated eardrum

    • Ear infection or inflammation

    • Pain, discharge, or recent ear surgery

  • Allergy warning: Contains arachis (peanut) oil – do not use if allergic to peanuts or soya.

  • Not recommended for children under 1 year without medical advice.

Possible Side Effects:
